Juana Essen is a small knitwear brand, founded by me, Joana Oliveira in 2023. All pieces are designed and handmade with too much love from my sofa in Saint-Jean-De-Luz, France :) each item is constructed from recycle or deadstock materials, with the philosophy of creating slow, ethical and sustainable fashion that lasts! 

Each of my creations has a name that represents a memory, word or cultural saying from my native country, Venezuela. The collection reflects a part of me and a nostalgia that has traveled with me since I left my country in 2015.

From an artistic and modern point of view, Juana represents color and joy through her creations, thank you for being a part of this creative journey <3
